bliss-sad's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the law I've been working as a legal assistant for just over six weeks now. A lot of people seem to think that it's kind of a glamorous title, but that's not really accurate. The truth is, it's just a shorter, classier way of saying, "Person who does all the work that the lawyer doesn't want/doesn't know how/doesn't have time to do". I've learned a lot about the legal system in this time, though, and I'd like to pass the most important thing that I've learned onto anyone who may be reading: The system is bullshit. Also, when dealing with the law, nearly everyone you encounter is an asshole.
